I have received my Bachelors in Psychology from University of Southern California, and two Masters degrees from California Institute of Integral Studies. My first Masters degree is in East-West Psychology, which focused on a multi-cultural, global understanding of psychology, and diversity in healing methodologies. My second Masters Degree is in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis on Expressive Arts Therapies. Expressive Arts Therapy is a therapy modality that offers communication of self through creative modalities such as creative writing, authentic movement, visual arts, music and drama/play therapy with the intention of holistic psychological healing.
I have also received a 200hr Yoga Teacher training from Yoga Garden SF, in order to integrate mindfulness into my practice as a psychotherapist.
I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (IMF#97883) and a member of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. I see clients both at the Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills and in Private Practice in Pasadena. I am currently supervised and employed by Chris Tickner, MFT, PhD (42576).
